I am very excited to be teaching Visual Art at Manor High School. I have taught Fine Art for 12 years at Occidental College, Pasadena City College and the High School for the Arts in Los Angeles. My work history also includes working for 11 years at a world-renowned print-making studio in Los Angeles, collaborating to create fine art prints for many well-known artists. I have an MFA in Painting from Hunter College in New York City and BFA in Fine Art from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.
In my classes I will help students discover and develop their creativity and learn about the history of Fine Art. I think the study of art not only helps students appreciate creative pursuits, but will also help them develop critical thinking which can positively impact their core classes.
