In Principles of Human Services, students will be introduced to a number of personal and professional life skills and the associated careers that stem from those skills are discussed and explored.
Human Growth and Development is a 2nd year course that dives deeper into the physical, social, and emotional development of a person from infancy to older adulthood and the end of life.
Child Development is another secondary course that primarily deals with the stages of pregnancy & delivery, newborn care, and the development and care of infants to age 2. Students will gain a firmer understanding of what pregnancy and childbirth entail, as well as the development of a child from conception to toddlerhood.
