Principal's Message

Greetings Manor High School staff, parents and guardians:

It is with great pleasure that I inform you that I will be the interim principal for the 2016-2017 school year.   I come to Manor ISD with 17 years of educational leadership.  Upon graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University, I began teaching in Lufkin ISD and thereafter ventured into the larger district of Fort Bend ISD as a Math teacher and coach.

After several years in the classroom, completing my graduate work in Educational Leadership, I moved into administration in Fort Bend ISD.  I’ve been availed the opportunity to serve at all levels of administration: 3 years as an elementary administrator, 3 years as a middle school administrator and, 4 years as a high school administrator.  During this time, I continued my long life pursuit for learning and earned my doctoral degree from the University of Houston.  I was most recently the Director of Social Emotional Learning in Manor ISD.

I am a team player and willing to serve in any capacity to help our students achieve to the highest heights.

My educational tenure centers around fostering an environment where parents, teachers, students and all stakeholders work together to build capacity within each other in order for the students to reach their maximum potential.  I am confident that together, we will provide opportunities for our students to grow socially, emotionally and educationally thus being prepared for life after high school.

In the upcoming days, there will be opportunities for you to visit with me at the high school, so that we may align our visions for our students.   I look forward to an outstanding, educational partnership.

Kind Regards,

Dr. Keith J. Brooks
